Hong Kong fit-out estimating
Fit-out takeoff software for Hong Kong contractors.
Measure landlord PDF plans. Price quote items live with cost × markup → margin chip. Export client-ready quotations — Grade A commercial, retail, F&B, and residential fit-out, all in one workflow.
GMT+8 support overlap · Stripe billing accepts HKD cards · No credit card for trial
Project types
Built for the fit-out work Hong Kong teams actually quote.
Commercial Grade A turnover is fast. F&B and retail are faster. The duplicate-project flow exists because your fifth quote is never a blank spreadsheet — it should start from your fourth.
Grade A and Grade B commercial fit-out
Partitions, ceilings, raised flooring, reception joinery, and MEP risers — measured and priced from the landlord's plan PDF.
Retail and shopfront
Tight-schedule shopping centre fit-outs with bulkheads, signage frames, and finishes priced live as you measure.
F&B and restaurant
Kitchen partitions, cold-room linings, dining-area ceilings, bar joinery — quoted in one workflow without rebuilding in Excel.
Residential fit-out and renovation
Private estate flats, village houses, and serviced apartments. Duplicate-project flow makes the second flat as fast as the first.
Hotel and serviced apartment retrofit
Floor-by-floor scope with revision deltas to flag what changed between phases.
Industrial-to-office conversion
Cha Kwo Ling, Kwun Tong, Wong Chuk Hang refits. Higher ceilings, MEP-heavy scope, area-priced or linear-priced as the trade demands.
Hong Kong-specific details
No GST, GFA-aware, HKD-card-friendly.
No GST or sales tax to worry about
Hong Kong does not levy GST or VAT. The quotation export goes ex-tax by default — clean line items, grand total, no separate tax row.
GFA and CFA-aware measurement
Measure on the landlord's PDF, label by gross or construction floor area as your QS prefers. Quotiqa stores the measurement; the unit label is your call.
Subcontractor-filtered exports
Export the priced BOQ filtered to one trade. Send the partition sub their lines without leaking the rest of the quote.
Browser-based, local-first
Project PDFs and pricing tables stay in your browser. No mandatory upload — your client drawings do not leave the laptop unless you choose to share them.
Stripe billing in SGD with HKD card support
Quotiqa is billed in SGD via Stripe (Starter S$99/mo, Team S$249/mo). Hong Kong-issued cards work — Stripe handles HKD-to-SGD conversion at checkout.

Pricing model
Cost × markup → live sell rate. The margin chip is the answer.
Most fit-out tools store one sell rate per item. Quotiqa splits it into cost, markup, and sell — so you can see margin live as you quote. Read the pricing-model post for the full reasoning.
- Quote ex-tax by default — Hong Kong does not levy GST or VAT.
- Subcontractor exports filtered by trade — clean breakdowns for partition, ceiling, joinery suppliers.
- Revision deltas flag what changed between R0 and R1 quote scope.
- Reusable item packages — your standard partition spec is one click away on the next quote.
- Branded client PDF with terms and exclusions baked in.
FAQ
Hong Kong fit-out estimator questions.
- Is Quotiqa built for Hong Kong fit-out work?
- Quotiqa is interior fit-out takeoff and quote software with the same workflow used by Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia teams. The product is browser-based, currency-flexible, and built around fit-out trades — partitions, ceilings, finishes, joinery, doors, MEP risers — that map directly to commercial, retail, F&B, and residential fit-out scope in Hong Kong.
- Does Quotiqa generate Buildings Department or FSD compliance documents?
- No. Quotiqa is a takeoff and quotation tool. It produces the priced BOQ, the client quotation PDF, and the subcontractor breakdown. Submissions for the Buildings Department or Fire Services Department are separate and remain with your AP, RSE, or registered minor works contractor.
- Hong Kong does not have GST. Can I quote ex-tax?
- Yes. The quotation export defaults to ex-tax. If you do work where stamp duty or another levy applies separately, those go on the client's invoicing system, not in the Quotiqa quote.
- Can I quote in HKD?
- Pricing inside the app is currency-agnostic — set your cost and sell rates in any unit, and the export labels will reflect it. The Quotiqa subscription itself is billed in SGD by Stripe; HKD-issued cards work through Stripe's currency conversion.
- How fast can a typical Hong Kong fit-out quote come together?
- Target is under 5 minutes from a fresh PDF for a small partition scope. A Grade A commercial floor takes longer — usually 30–60 minutes for the first quote, with the second one 5x faster because rates and item types carry across.
- Does it work for the high-turnover small-shop F&B and retail market?
- That is one of the best fits. Small fit-outs benefit most from rate memory and the duplicate-project flow. Your fifth restaurant fit-out starts from your fourth, with the standard partition rate, ceiling rate, and joinery rate already in place.
- Where is the company based and where does support come from?
- Quotiqa is built and supported from Singapore. Email and demo support cover SGT business hours, which substantially overlap Hong Kong working hours (HKT and SGT differ by 0 hours — both are GMT+8).
- Can we subscribe without a sales call?
- Yes. Start a 14-day no-card trial, then subscribe through Stripe. Book demo remains available for teams that want the S$299 first-month Team Pilot with onboarding and price-list review.
